Introduction
There's a certain kind of comfort in hiring a "real" agency. An office address, decades of experience, big-name clients on the About page. It feels safer than trusting a solo freelancer you found online.
Springbolt Group offers exactly that feeling. It's a full-service marketing agency in Dallas, Texas, and alongside its bigger projects, it sells a monthly design subscription.
Springbolt's Design by Subscription has a Starter plan at $2,999/month and a Pro plan at $4,999/month, with every assignment reviewed by a creative director. But the same page also lists different prices further down, so you'll want to confirm the real numbers before you sign.
The Short Answer: Is Springbolt Group Worth It?
It can be, if you're a US company that values agency oversight and wants marketing strategy nearby. But confusing pricing and terms on its own page mean you need everything confirmed in writing.
Question | Answer |
|---|---|
What is it? | A Dallas marketing agency with a design subscription |
Starter | $2,999/month, Level 1 projects, two meetings a month |
Pro | $4,999/month, Level 1 and 2 projects, four meetings a month |
Other listed prices | $2,500 base and $6,000 priority plans in the FAQ |
Turnaround | About 48 hours for Level 1 work |
Active requests | One at a time on Starter and Pro |
How I Wrote This Review
I read Springbolt's Design by Subscription page, About page and What We Do page as of October 29, 2026. I haven't subscribed, and I didn't find independent client reviews I could match to the agency.
Who Is Springbolt Group?
Springbolt is a full-service marketing agency based at North Central Expressway in Dallas. It covers brand strategy, web apps, digital marketing, lead generation, UI/UX, marketing technology and social media.
It says it brings three decades of brand strategy experience. Its About page names clients including AARP, IBM, Mr. Cooper, Aligned Data Centers and CyrusOne. It mainly works with lower to mid-market B2B companies, enterprise brands and funded startups.
Most of its bigger work runs on contracts with scoped project documents. The design subscription is one of the few services sold month to month.
What Services Does Springbolt Group Offer?
The subscription splits work into two levels.
Level | What it covers | Example |
|---|---|---|
Level 1 (all plans) | Landing pages, single web pages, decks, social posts, ads, illustrations, email design, flyers, trade show graphics | A set of LinkedIn ads for a webinar |
Level 2 (Pro only) | Brand audits, logos and visual identity, packaging, UI/UX, wireframes, motion graphics, simple site refreshes up to five pages, copy editing | A new logo and brand identity |
Agency services | Brand strategy, web apps, lead generation, digital marketing | A full go-to-market plan |
The subscription is mainly design. Website work is limited to single pages and small refreshes of up to five pages. Bigger builds and web apps run as separate agency projects.
How Much Does Springbolt Group Cost?
Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
Starter | $2,999/month | Level 1 projects, unlimited requests and brands, two live meetings a month |
Pro | $4,999/month | Level 1 and 2 projects, four live meetings a month |
Custom | Not listed | Tailored setup |
Base (FAQ) | $2,500/month | One active project |
Priority (FAQ) | $6,000/month | Two active projects, faster turnaround |
The main catch
The page contradicts itself. The package section lists $2,999 and $4,999, while the FAQ lists $2,500 and $6,000. The packages say you can cancel anytime, but the FAQ asks for 30 days' notice. Turnaround is "about 48 hours" in one place and "two to three business days" in another. Motion graphics are a Pro feature in one section and a paid add-on in another.
None of these is a dealbreaker, but together they suggest the page hasn't been updated carefully. Get the current price, notice period and turnaround in writing.
A worked example
Say you're a B2B company with a big trade show coming up:
Starter at $2,999/month: booth graphics, flyers, ads and a landing page for the event.
Upgrade to Pro at $4,999/month if you also need a brand refresh before the show.
With a 30-day notice period, plan for at least two months of fees if you only need help for one, which could mean about $6,000 to $10,000 in total.
What Do Clients Say?
I didn't find independent reviews on Clutch, Trustpilot or similar sites that I could link to Springbolt's design subscription. The big client names come from Springbolt's own About page. Ask for references from subscription clients specifically, not just agency clients.
Is Springbolt Group Legit?
It's a real agency with a Dallas office address, a phone line, an email and a long client list. The concern isn't legitimacy. It's the inconsistent pricing and terms. Treat the written contract as the only source of truth.
My Honest Design Opinion
Having a creative director review every assignment is a real quality safeguard. That's something most cheaper subscriptions skip.
But the Level 1 and Level 2 split is something to watch. A logo, a brand audit or UI/UX work only sits on the Pro plan. If you sign up for Starter thinking you'll get a brand refresh, you'll be disappointed. Map your actual needs to the right level before choosing.
Pros of Springbolt Group
Creative director review on every assignment.
Backed by a full marketing agency.
Unlimited brands on every plan.
Live meetings included each month.
Wide range of Level 1 work.
Cons of Springbolt Group
Conflicting prices on the same page.
Conflicting cancellation terms.
Branding and UI/UX only on Pro.
Limited website builds in the subscription.
No independent reviews found.
Who Should Hire Springbolt Group?
A good fit for:
US B2B companies with steady marketing design needs,
teams that want agency oversight and planning meetings,
businesses that may later need lead generation or strategy,
companies running trade shows and campaigns often.
Who Should Look Elsewhere?
Look elsewhere if you:
need full website builds in Webflow or Framer,
want simple, consistent pricing,
have a budget under $2,500 a month,
need several requests moving at once on a lower plan.
Questions to Ask Before You Sign
"Which prices are current: $2,999 and $4,999, or $2,500 and $6,000?"
"Is cancellation anytime, or 30 days' notice?"
"What's the real turnaround for Level 1 work?"
"Are motion graphics included in Pro or an add-on?"
"Can I speak with a current subscription client?"
"Who owns the source files?"

A Quick Note About Me
I'm Subarno, a solo designer working in Figma, Framer and Webflow. I don't offer lead generation or marketing strategy like Springbolt, but my retainer includes full website builds and branding at one public price.
My $1,000/month retainer covers:
website design in Figma,
website builds in Framer or Webflow,
branding for smaller businesses, like logos, colors and brand guides,
small website animations and interactions,
banners, posters and social media content.
Book a free 30-minute call or reach me on my contact page. If you want a full agency behind your design, with strategy and lead generation on tap, Springbolt may be the better match, and I'll happily say so on a call.
Final Verdict: Is Springbolt Group Worth It?
Springbolt brings real agency experience, creative director oversight and a wide range of design work to its subscription. For US B2B teams that like that structure, it's worth considering.
But its own page gives two sets of prices and terms. Don't sign anything until you have the current price, notice period and turnaround confirmed in writing.
